These pictures are extra special to me because this happens to be my own senior! Having a daughter that is a high school senior gives me a unique perspective as a photographer. I completely understand all the emotions that senior parents are feeling. This is a time of transition, excitement, and hope for the future, but it can also be bittersweet for parents as our children grow up and begin navigating the world on their own. Graduation is a celebration of many years of so much growth and development, and I know what a huge milestone this is for both the seniors AND their parents! This milestone deserves to be documented in the most beautiful way!

We headed to Galveston for Maren's pictures. The coastal charm provides so much variety, especially in the Spring. I truly cherish these images of my girl! She has accomplished so much and I could not be more proud of her. I love working with seniors because I deeply feel the importance of this time in their lives and ours! Since this is my own child, I had an even harder time trying to narrow down images to post so I am posting a lot of them. It was such a fun evening!

Maren | League City Senior Portraits

I loved photographing Mikayla&rsquo;s senior portraits this fall! She will be graduating from Santa Fe High School in the spring. We lucked out for this shoot because it started raining at the end, so we finished just in time!
&nbsp;
We were able to capture a variety of looks with our location choices, from a beautiful rustic greenhouse and grassy field to colorful walls and a dreamy hanging swing. I enjoyed watching Mikayla's fun personality come out as she got more comfortable in front of the camera. I love all of her expressions! It is always rewarding to see how all of the planning comes together to create the final look of the photos.

Fall is honestly one of my favorite times for senior pictures. The weather has cooled down a little, but everything is usually still green. It's also a great idea to get your senior photos done before the busy spring semester arrives.

Morgan is my first 2025 senior session and I had the hardest time narrowing down images to post from her shoot! Our first location was a beautiful and colorful venue in Dickinson. The flowers and cheerful atmosphere paired perfectly with the white outfits she chose to wear. Then we went to a park in League City at sunset to take some pictures with her softball gear. I absolutely love how her images turned out! I am excited to photograph more seniors this year.

We took Laurel's pictures for her 15th birthday, which happened to be 2 days after she got her braces off. She was excited to show off her new smile! It might not look like it in the pictures, but it was actually extremely cloudy (it looked almost dark outside), and it was raining the whole time we took these pictures. We had to stay under covered areas until the very end, when we got a few pictures by the pond while it was still drizzling, and faint light showed up in the distance. You might be wondering why we didn't reschedule this session. Under normal circumstances I absolutely would have, but this happens to be my kid and she was all dressed up and determined! This was a very quick session due to less than ideal weather, but I am glad we still got some keepers. She was happy so I was happy! It also shows that cloudy weather can still produce beautiful images. As far as shooting when it is actually raining, I do not recommend. ;)

I wanted to blog this cutie because she looks so sweet in the neutral and purple colors her mom requested and I love these images of her. We even got a grin and I always love when that happens at a newborn session! What's more angelic than a sleeping newborn baby smiling?!

I had the privilege of photographing this cutie 4 times over her first year of life! She is a doll and I loved how all of her sessions turned out. We took these pictures to celebrate her first birthday. I love how her mom wanted to incorporate some of her favorite books. We also got a few family pictures and a couple of her handsome big brother. It was so fun to watch her personality come out each time I saw her!
